Make an easy doll purse

Hi! Hi! Hi! My name is Saige and I'm soooooooooooo excited for my movie to come out on Tuesday. But I still had enough time to share this fun craft.

   You need:

• an old jean back pocket
• ribbon
• jewels
• scissors, tread, and a sewing needle

1)  Cut the jean back pocket out. Ask for permission first.

2) Decorate! Jewels work well.

3) Measure how long the ribbon strap needs to be on your doll. I made mine too big so I just tucked it in my sleeve.

4) Sew the ribbon on the back side if the pocket. If you don't know how to sew ask someone who does.

And TA DA! You have a fabulous purse for your dolls.

I was just browsing around dolldiaries when I came across  a post of photos from someone's behind the scenes trip to the new AG store in Columbus. It isn't open yet and there are tons of new items.  You can see her photos here.

There are pajamas, outfits, hair accessories, and more.


The hair accessories are unlike anything AG has done before, so I can't wait to see them. There also might be a new outfit for Saige. I can't wait to see the new stuff.

Summer Challenge 2

Hi. I'm Emily.

Bailey and I were talking and we've come to a decision. We're gonna start a summer project called A tisket a tasket. 
What it is: 
A summer long project starting with a notebook decorated. Each week there will be 5-7 items to find and tape into the book. You can also find your own items.

How to Make The Book:

Materials:
Notebook
scrapbook or colored paper
colored duct tape
feathers or other decorating items

1. Cover the notebook in the scrapbook paper.
2. Cut of the extra paper.
3. Put duct tape around the edges
4. Decorate!

Hi. My name is Lucy.

My first plan was to go outside. That didn't happen, because it was raining.
